Three-dimensional Temperature Field Simulation Analysis of Asynchronous Traction Motor
Abstract
Temperature Rise in electric motor is an important factor, which affects its reliability and life. In order to accurately understand the temperature filed in the traction motor. this paper takes an asynchronous traction motor by forced air circulation for research object, and analyses the three-dimensional temperature field. In this paper, finite element analysis 3D model of an asynchronous traction motor has been established, which also includes the fluid domain. Using the finite element method for the three-dimensional temperature field in different ventilation structure and various load conditions. This study provides the temperature rise changing in flow rate, which can reference for motor design and optimize the performance.
