Research on Electromagnetic Relay Health Status and Life Evaluation Technology of CRH3 Series EMUs

Abstract


This paper summarizes the relay types, working principle fault distribution principle of CRH3 series EMUs. It introduces the two commonly used analysis and evaluation methods and compares them. The three types of relays which are not installed and used ,have operated 1.2 million kilometers and faults were selected. The variation of the parameters such as pull-in voltage, release voltage, and contact resistance with temperature was analyzed. The Fick diffusion equation was used to build Larson. - Miller model, at the same time, analysis and excavation of big data for test data, and obtained the change principle of relay parameters with temperature and mileage. The results show that the analysis method and test analysis results can be used for the health status of CRH3 series EMU relays. And evaluate the remaining life.
