Study on Optimal Allocation of Reliability of High-speed Train Gear Transmission System Based on Improved Cost Function

Abstract


Since the components of the high-speed train gear transmission system (HTGTS) are manufactured according to the requirements of the design, it is of great significance to optimize the reliability of each component in the reliability design stage to improve the service safety of the high-speed train. Currently many researchers focus on the reliability requirement, however, ignore the cost constraints in the improvement of component reliability. The Agree allocation method and the optimal allocation method based on cost function are discussed in this paper. Combining the characteristics of the two methods, an improved method for optimal allocation of cost function is proposed, and examples of the three methods are compared on HTGTS. The results show that the proposed method has significant effect on improving the reliability of the HTGTS and provides theoretical support for enhancing the reliability design of high-speed train components.
