XINCHANG LIU, JIANHUI LIN, QI SUN

Abstract

In order to eliminate the measurement errors caused by the rolling of the bogie during dynamic measurement of track irregularity, an algorithm for detecting the track irregularity based on the calibration of left and right 2D space coordinate system is proposed. The k-means method is used to segment the track data. Using least squares principle to extract the feature points of the curve and getting another feature point according to the track characteristics. Acquiring the relationship of the left and right sensor coordinate system. Acquiring the left and right track gauge feature points and unified to the same coordinate system. The gauge irregularity is obtained by the formula of distance between two points. Experimental results show that the measurement results have good repeatability. The result of manual check shows that the measurement error of gauge irregularity is less than 0.8mm, which meets the requirement of measurement.
