The Influence of Electromagnetic Wire Gauge of Frequency Conversion Motor on the Interturn Electric Field

DAN LI, XIAOJIE CONG

Abstract

With the increase of the turn short of the variable frequency traction motor, the optimization of interturn insulation structure becomes a necessary subject. This paper is based on a variable frequency traction motor with a power of 350kW, 1800r/min and rated voltage of 2800V, by studying the influence of the interturn thickness and the chamfering Angle on the electric field. At the same time, the life analysis of corona film and ordinary film is analyzed. Through the finite element analysis and related experiments, the interturn electric field of different chamfering Angle of the motor is obtained. Guide the film material selection of the motor to ensure the reliability of interturn insulation.
