Weight Sensing Device for Railway Heavy-duty Freight Car

Abstract

The objective of the paper is to introduce a design to weigh the goods automatically on a railway heavy-duty freight car. In the research described here, a kind of weight sensor is designed in the way to replace the adapter so that it can weigh the load on the bearing which is mounted to a wheel set. In this way the goods on the heavy-duty freight can be obtained automatically.
