DATA ON DECELERATION HISTORY OF BODY IN RHEOLOGICAL MEDIUM AS A BASIS FOR VERIFY OF TERMINAL BALLISTICS CALCULATED TASKS

Abstract

The reports materials on the data presented by the authors earlier in the proceedings of 23rd- 31st International Symposiums on Ballistics are base. The results relate to the field of study of the action of the body on the target. Measuring technology is a set of methodological, technological and software components for tests measuring strikers-probes. Such strikers are equipped with impact accelerometers and original systems for connect with recorder. The difference from the known methods is the realizable range of impact velocities: 100 - 2500 m/s at the stage of action on the target. Theoretical and experimental studies have revealed a new law of medium resistance to penetration. The law allows the application of engineering methods for solving problems. It became possible to solve spatial tasks of penetration with the use of this law.
