Abstract

In the present paper, the process of Zr-based metallic glass fragments impacting the target plate is analyzed by one-dimensional stress wave theory to obtain the interfacial pressure between the target and fragments and other relevant influencing parameters. Meanwhile, combing with jh-2 material constitutive model, simulations were conducted to simulate the process of Zr62.5Nb3Cu14.5Ni14Al6 impacting the target plate at the speed of 600m/s-1500m/s with ls-dyna 3d software. The effects of fragments on the process of impacting target plate at different initial velocities were analyzed by combining theory and numerical simulation. The accuracy of jh-2 model for simulating Zr-based reactive fragments impacting steel target at low speed is verified, which can provide a reference for the calculation of reaction threshold of reactive fragments impacting steel target.
