Analysis of the Effect of the Altitude of the Damage Effect of Plates Subjected to Explosion Blast Wave

Abstract


Make establishment of the parameters of ideal gas model of different altitudes air. Using the linear numerical analysis software AUTODYN to calculate the blast overpressure and impulse of different altitude environments. Make assessment of damage level of plate subjected to explosion blast by meaning of over-pressure criteria. The results show that the altitude effect on the plate’s damage subjected to explosion blast is significant and should not be ignored.
