Structural Health Monitoring for Aerospace Composite Structures
Abstract
Sensitivity characterization is a necessary process for the evaluation of a Structural Health Monitoring technology (SHM). It is needed to feed reliability assessment with respect to damage/flaw detection. To this end, we propose in this study the investigation of an SHM sensitivity issue for composite structures that have undergone impact events with different delamination area and size.
