Aspects of Automatization of Wind Farm Monitoring on the Example of a Diagnostic Center

T. BARSZCZ, A. JABLONSKI

Abstract

The paper presents selected aspects of the design and implementation of the Diagnostic Center as an innovative concept of systems of monitoring and diagnosis system (SM&D) for wind farms. Current SM&D systems are faced not only with exponentially growing disc storage handling, but also with accessibility enhancement, optimization of discriminatory signal features selection, and finally with signal analysis automatization. The concept presented by the authors is a pioneering solution, which combines modern hardware and software technologies accompanied by implementation of latest discoveries in vibration signal processing. In the paper, the authors illustrate selected features of the Diagnostic Center with the emphasis on the automatization of vibration analysis of wind farms.
