Polygonal Inhomogeneity in Anisotropic Full-Planes

Abstract


An exact closed-form solution for Eshelby problems of polygonal inhomogeneity in anisotropic full-planes is presented. The induced elastic fields are expressed in terms of the line integral on the boundary of inhomogeneity with the integrand being the Green’s functions. As numerical examples, our iteration algorithm is applied to both triangle- and square-shaped quantum wires within GaAs full-planes.
