Nonlinear Numerical Analysis of Large Deflection of FGM Circular Plate
Abstract
The fundamental objective in this paper lies in finding out numerically large deflection of axisymmetrical homogeneous and functionally graded material (FGM) circular clamped plates under uniformly distributed load. The governing equations of large deflection of FGM plate were first derived and the dimensionless ones with boundary conditions were given. The nonlinear boundary-value problems for ordinary differential equations (ODEs) were solved using ODEs solver, COLSYS. The numerical results are obtained. The research method in this paper is effective and the results provide basis for the non-linear analysis or engineering applications of functionally graded circular plate problem.
