Study on Size Effects of Coal Intensity Based on Weibull Distribution
Abstract
In order to realize reasonable application from standard coal body strength of laboratory test to the engineering project, a lot of uniaxial compressive strength experiments are conducted with five kinds of different sizes of coal samples from the domestic and international coal mine engineering using RFPA software numerical simulation. And deformations and damage forms of coal samples are researched. The fitting analysis is proceed by means of size effect experiment of uniaxial compressive strength and numerical test results of Weibull distribution, The attenuation law of coal samples macroscopic strength with coal intensity and homogeneous degree is obtained. The regression formula of standard coal sample strength reduction to coal intensity is gotten from test results, and satisfactory results comparing with the local data can be obtained.
