Study on the Influence of Ultrasound to Extract Vinasse Cellulose
Abstract
Vinasse cellulose as a not been fully development and utilization green packaging material, has a very wide research and application prospects. The purpose of this paper is to separate cellulose from the vinasse at a certain concentration of alkali solution assisted with ultrasonic treatment, and to utilize the cellulose as a novel green packaging material. On the basis of cellulose extraction efficiency, we studied the influence and effect of different alkali solutions, different concentrations of the same alkali solution, and different ultrasonic treatment time. The experiments show that the extraction efficiency reached its maximum as 35% when we used potassium hydroxide solution with a mass fraction of 7.5% under the duration of ultrasonic treatment as 30 min, and it was found to meet the characteristics of cellulose structure by scanning electron microscopy. The results show that it is feasible to separate cellulose from the vinasse in alkali solution assisted with ultrasonic treatment, which provides a new idea for the preparation of biodegradable packaging materials.
