Research on Vehicle Braking Performance in a Turn Based on ISO7975

Research on vehicle braking performance in a turn has important practical significance to reduce the traffic accident rate. Based on ISO 7975 standard, testing system for braking in turn is established, into which the braking robot and steering robot are introduced. The PID tuning method for braking robot deceleration control is put forward. And field tests are conducted for an independent brand passenger car and results of braking performance in a turn are present and analyzed using self-developed MATLAB GUI software.
