Real-time Optimization of Cure Process of Thick FRP Plates
Abstract
In the manufacture of large and complex-shaped FRP structuers, the temperature distribution overall the product may become nonuniform and then the uneven distiribution of degree-of-cure is generated. Since this unevenness influences on the quality of FRP products and requires, a lage number of manufacturing trials are necessary to explore optimum molding conditions. The trail-and-error method is one of factors increasing the manufacturing cost of FRP. Therefore, a more efficient method to obtain the optimum molding condition is required.
