Test Method Investigation of Trajectory Consistency Based on Damage Efficiency Criterion

RISHENG HOU, YAFENG HU, JUN ZHU

Abstract

For the theoretical and practical problems in ammunition and fuse average trajectory consistency test, starting from basic features of analytical statistics and application characteristics of ammunition, the problems in current test methods were pointed out, such as: the t test method is not used for ammunition with different dispersion, the antiaircraft weapons test does not consider the situation of air shooting, the randomness of test sample size is too big, the evaluation criteria of test results is not reasonable. Improvement suggestion for test method and test point selection is proposed. A new evaluation criteria of average trajectory consistency is put forward based on damage efficiency. By analyzing average trajectory consistency test results of a certain type of armor piercing projectile, prefabricated fragment ammunition and grenade, the correctness and availability of new evaluation criteria is proved.
