Study on Three-Dimensional Contour Measurement Technology for Projectile
Abstract
In ballistics, through measuring the three-dimensional surface of the bullet after launching, the degree of ablation and other effects on the surface of the bullet can be measured. The 3D reconstruction device consists of: a device to measure the design and function of the fringe projectile, a synchronous illumination source, an imaging camera and a time sequence controller. These items collectively will analyze the effect of Fourier contour transformations on the projectile. To ensure the integrity of these findings, static and dynamic tests will be performed to ensure the accuracy of the system. The experiment results have shown that the system is able to complete the three- dimensional reconstruction of a flying body. In the examination of ballistics, this system has broad applications.
