Epoxy Resin (DGEBA/TETA) Under Extreme Environment

Abstract

Epoxy resin (DEGBA/TETA), used as a major ingredient for manufacture of composite and sandwich composites may be subjected to different extreme environment situations such as that of cold weather conditions. In this study, samples were exposed to cold weather conditions and FTIR was done to probe changes in the molecular structure of the material which might provide an answer for the brittleness observed in the material
