Impact Behavior of Polypropylene/Glass Fiber Fabric Composites
Abstract
In this contribution compatibilized and not compatibilized polypropylene/glass
fiber fabric composites were prepared and characterized through in terms of both static
and low velocity impact response under various impact energies.
A good fiber impregnation was achived in all systems, and results emphasized the
influence of the fiber/matrix interface on damage modes occurring in laminates after
low impact energy and at failure.
