Adaptive Aitken-Schwarz Method for Non Separable Operator on Multiprocessor Systems
Abstract
This paper focus on a parallel implementation and evaluation of the Aitken- Schwarz method when it applied to 3D Darcy flow where the permeability field is randomly distributed and exhibits strong variations that leads to have a discrete non separable operator. Then the matrix P involved in the Aitken’s acceleration coupled the Fourier modes of the iterate solutions at the subdomains’s interfaces. An adaptive strategy is mandatory to built it with respect to the memory capabilities.
