The Nonlinear Magnetoelectric Effect of Layered Magnetoelectric Composite Cylinder with an Imperfect Interface
Abstract
A nonlinear theoretical model is proposed for magnetoelectric (ME) effect of composite cylinder with an imperfect interface. The influences of magnetic frequency, magnetic field, and the thickness ratio of two materials on ME coefficient are discussed, respectively. Moreover, the effect of interfacial compliance on the ME coefficient is considered. The results indicate that the value of ME coefficient increases firstly and then decreases with the increase of magnetic field. Meanwhile, the thickness ratio of two materials has a significant effect on the ME coefficient. It can also be found that interfacial compliance plays an important role in the nonlinear magnetoelectric effect.
