Sequence Analysis of Photovoltaic Output Based on Hierarchical Clustering Algorithm

Abstract


In order to better characterize the characteristics of photovoltaic (PV) output, propose a hierarchical clustering algorithm to analyze the PV output sequence. At first, analyze the PV power samples through a hierarchical clustering algorithm, and select the optimal clustering distance according to the correlation in the clustering tree. Then, select the optimal clustering number by the comprehensive evaluation of R-square statistics and pseudo-F statistics. In the end, a case study is carried out using measured PV data in a certain area to verify the rationality of this method, and select a typical output curve
