Design of Temperature Compensation System of FBG Current Transformer Based on FPGA

Abstract


NiosII soft core processor which is the core of the FBG current transformer temperature compensation system, collects and processes sensor output signal, the signal contains dc component which is bias voltage and ac component which is the measured current. The processed signal converted by D/A converter can adjust the DFB laser wavelength automatically which is consistent with the changing trend of FBG wavelength. So it can adjust the quiescent point automatically, and achieve temperature compensation function of FBG current transformer. Experimental results show that when the temperature changes, the changing trend of the control voltage of DFB laser is consistent with the temperature, and the quiescent point remains constant, thus it achieves the temperature compensation of GMM-FBG current transformer.
