Study on Mechanical Properties of ZTH Propellant

Abstract


In order to study the mechanical properties of ZTH propellant, the impact test was carried out under the condition of normal temperature and low temperature, and compared with the AGu propellant. The particle breakage degree of the propellant is obtained by two methods of the weight distribution of the particles after impact and the initial stage of Γ-Ψ integral. It can be seen from the experiment that the breaking degree of ZTH propellant is larger than that of AGu propellant at normal temperature, but the degree of breakage is less than that of AGu propellant at low temperature. Through the comparison of two propellant mechanical properties test, it can provide a reference for the research of application of gun ballistic charge and the launch safety of the ZTH propellant.
